the financing of consigned goods).

having illegally permitted out-of-state auctioneer Amy Assister to call
auctions for Henderson Auctions with no Louisiana auction license.

Entailing the lack of transparency from the prior meeting referenced by Burns in the preceding video, here's a repeat of that episode from the July 11, 2016 LALB meeting.

Auctioneer Nick Hardy is to serve as the sponsoring auctioneer
for apprentice Edward Heaston, a convicted Arizona felon
sentenced to prison for fraudulent schemes and 3rd degree burglary.
CLICK HERE (beginning on page 3) for the complaint from a lady
fleeced for $25,000 after the LALB permitted Mark Brister to
obtain his license back without POSING ANY QUESTION on
how he was to "make a millions dollars overnight."

LALB discusses ever-increasing liability insurance costs.

LALB extensively discusses online auction regulation, including
material learned from the 2016 NALLOA Conference to include
experiences of Texas and Pennsylvania along with an interesting
discussion of the challenges that "Facebook auction" regulation may entail.

LAPA Vice President Robert Burns discusses some auctioneers expressed desires
for the LALB to return to having formal office hours and the
request for that agenda item for the 11/7/16 LALB meeting.
LALB staffed hours were abandoned upon the hiring of Sandy Edmonds as
Executive Director in August of 2009, which led to Ms. Edmonds being
cited for payroll fraud by the Louisiana Office of Inspector General.
